The largest solar eclipse, since 1999, will cast much of Britain into darkness this coming  Friday with some areas of the country ‘seeing’ 99 per cent darkness.

The eclipse will begin around 08-00hrs on Friday morning. It will peak at about 09.30hrs (depending on where you are) before the sun returns around  11-00hrs.
