Meet Sheila Monaghan, Office Manager

For the latest in our Meet the Team series, we’re introducing Sheila Monaghan, our Office Manager, who has been part of the company for more than 26 years.

More Than 26 Years of Experience

Sheila joined the business after building experience across a number of different industries, including research and textiles.

In fact, her connection to the industry goes back even further. Sheila first became involved in plastics and masterbatch through James, who also worked in textiles before moving into the industry.

Over more than two decades with the company, Sheila has become an important part of the team, bringing organisation, communication and problem-solving skills to her role.

Keeping the Office – and Orders – Moving

As Office Manager, Sheila’s role covers plenty of ground.

From administration and customer service to ensuring the factory has raw materials and the paperwork it needs, her focus is on keeping things organised and making sure everyone has what they need to do their jobs.

Most importantly, that extends to our customers.

It’s a simple description, but one that sums up just how much goes on behind the scenes to provide customers with a reliable service.

What Makes the Role Enjoyable?

After more than 26 years, it’s the people and the satisfaction of doing a good job that Sheila enjoys most.

For Sheila, having a good relationship with her teammates is an important part of working here, alongside knowing that she has helped get the job done for customers.

She has also had a front-row seat to the company’s growth over the years and is excited to see the business continue moving forward, particularly through continued training and development.

Away From the Office…

When she isn’t keeping everything organised at work, Sheila enjoys socialising, eating out, holidays – especially somewhere with a bit of sunshine – concerts and music, scooter scene, and swimming.

And a fact the team might already know? Her wardrobe is carefully colour-coordinated, from short sleeves to long sleeves. Very appropriate for someone working in the colour industry!

Her favourite colour? Baby blue.
